I believe it, because the Bible says so.
When Jesus cast out evil spirits he did just that, so either you believe the Bible or not. We were not there when Jesus did
it were we?
So were the Apostles biased in their account of Jesus, Peter and Paul's casing out of Devils?
In fact the devil Jesus cast out knew who He was!
They could only have recognized Him if they had met Him before, which the angels who fell did.
Let me share some Bible verses with you on the subject. I believe it because it says it in God's Word, and if you believe
God's Word you can't go wrong.
I don't go for this Carl Jung's archetypes and dark shadows philosophy.
Mat 8:29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to
torment us before the time?
Jud 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains
under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

Act 19:13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of

So I believe it because the Bible says so.
