1Jo 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists;
whereby we know that it is the last time.
1Jo 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
1Jo 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that [spirit]
of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
2Jo 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver
and an antichrist.
This is where they got the myth of "The Anti-Christ" who is going to give you his "mark of the Beast"
There is no where in the Bible that connects "Anti-christ" with the "mark of the beast"
The book of Revelation: Why didn't Jesus mention anything about an Anit-Christ? In revelation there are three bad guys, the
beast, the false prophet, and Satan who get thrown into the lake of fire.
They just assume that the Beast is the Anti-Christ, when there is no mention whatsoever of "him" Screwed up Bible prophecy
just like Berg was, to get people to follow him so they won't get "chased by the Anti-christ"
So who is the Anti-Christ? Your guess is as good as anyone else's because there are thousands of conspiracy theories out there
each one claiming to know for sure who the Anti-Christ is. Each generation was sure they had found the "Anti-Christ" since
Jesus mentioned many will come in His name.
The truth is that there are MANY Anit-Christs out there.
In 2 Thess Ch 1 there is no mention whatsoever nor hint of an "Anti-Christ"
In chapter 2 you have to read the whole thing in context from the perspective of spiritual apostasy and adultery and idolatry
happening in the body of Christ, and in the temple of the Holy Ghost in order to get the full picture, but I will deal with
those scriptures that specifically mention what many interpret as the Anti-Christ:
Take into consideration that in the KJV the words in brackets have been added by the translators which were approved by King
James and the Archbishop of Canterbury, and were not in the original Greek so you can't find them in the Lexicons.
2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that
man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
My take on this is that is that Satan is the "son of perdition". the "man of sin" revealed is Satan and the sinful nature
of man revealed in the greater part of the body of Christ with the "falling away" from the truth. This is talking about those
who had the truth but are deceived by Satan and fall away from it, yielding to Satan, the son of perdition, the man of sin.
2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in
the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
I believe that this is talking about the temple of God being our own bodies and the body of Christ ,
the temple of the Holy Ghost as in "1Cr 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in
you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? AND: 1Cr 3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy;
for the temple of God is holy, which [temple] ye are. AND ; 1Cr 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and [that]
the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? AND : 2Cr 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple
of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in [them]; and I will be their God, and they shall be
my people.
ALSO; Eph 2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
It is Satan INSIDE of man that has caused man to exalt himself above all that is called God in evolution and godless education
and also religion which drives man to worship everything else besides God. Worship of himself, his mind, his body, his own
spirit instead of God.
This sinful nature of Satan is even now sitting inside of the Temple of God and has become God to the people who have fallen
away from the truth and are turned unto lies and fables.
Christians are waiting for this Anti-Christ to be revealed in the world and are making wild guesses as to who he is to no
avail.
Little do they realize that the man of sin has already revealed himself inside the Hearts of the body of Christ through false
doctrines, pride, dissension, division, envy , hate, adultery, gossip, perversions, all sorts of ungodliness right INSIDE
their OWN Temple of GOD, the Temple of the Holy Ghost, defiling their own bodies as in Romans chapter 1.Deceived and deluded
with strong delusion as in verse 11 below.
2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy
with the brightness of his coming:
The capital W for Wicked was added also by the King James translators to denote a proper name, when it wasn't that way in
the original. The greek definition does not give it as a proper name of a person. This is also mistaken and misinterpreted
as "The Anti-christ" because of the capital W
2Th 2:9 [Even him], whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
"Even him" was also added by the KJV translators, and was not in the original greek.
Jesus already predicted that many false Christs and false prophets will arise showing great signs and wonders and shall deceive
many through the power of Satan. So this isn't talking about any one particular "man" but many.
2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth,
that they might be saved.
2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
So their made up Anti-Christ so called has already made his appearance inside the Temple of God showing himself that he is
God, like New Age, Mormonism, Transcendental Meditation, The Family, and other religions and cults that worship themselves
or another human being, or angels or spirit helpers, or maybe even their pastor.
Christians just don't want to admit that they have any sin on the inside of God's temple, they want the Anti-Christ to do
all the sinning for them, just like they want the second coming of Christ to do all the witnessing for them.
Sorry, church goers, and cultists , nothing against you, just against the wicked evil Satan who has deceived many and has
planted himself INSIDE the Temple of GOD to show himself AS God.
I'm nit trying to make anyone upset or angry, but that's the way I and many others see it. Sorry if you don't agree, but you
cannot prove there is an "Anti-Christ" who will rule the world. At least not from the Bible.
Thank you
Since then I have chosen to believe that Matthew 24 had a more literal meaning that Jesus was applying to what happened in
70 AD when the Romans lay siege to Jerusalem, also stretching from that time until Jesus' return.
From that time till now there has been a continuation of tribulation for Christians and also Jews, not only since that time,
but throughout the Christian Age.
There wasn't anything like it before, and will not be anything like it after it is over and Jesus returns.
so I would read this chapter in relation to Luke 21 and Mark 13 that parallel this chapter, and not according to Mat 24 alone.
There seems to be a lot that would apply to current application of the spiritual principles, to the time
Jesus was in, and also the return of Jesus.
But in v9 it seems as though Jesus is speaking to Jews in this discourse. It has already come to pass that the Jews have been
hated of all nations. But Jesus added that they would be hated for His name's sake and
Mark adds that the Holy Ghost would give them special directions as to what to speak to their accusers (Mk. 13:11). This leaves
no doubt that Jesus was more directly speaking to His followers. Christians will be hated of all nations before the end comes.
It appears that the disciples were asking two questions. One was about the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple. The other
was about the end of the world and second coming of Jesus.
To me it is clearer when I read Mt 24 in context with Luke 21 and Mark 13.
He is talking to the Jews, warning them to flee when they see the armies of the romans coming to attack Jerusalem.
The Christians did flee and escaped, Jerusalem was trodden down of the Gentiles, the temple desecrated and destroyed, the
sacrifice taken away
again, and has not been restored since.
Then Jesus tells about what the world will be like just before His second coming.
There is no mention of any one man called the "Anti Christ" but Jesus says that "many" will come in my name and shall deceive
many. "Many" false prophets shall arise. In 1Jn, John also mentions "many" anti-christs, and any spirit that does not confess
Jesus Christ IS come in the flesh is that spirit of Anti-Christ, which is already in the world.
The "one man" anti Christ doctrine was introduced in the 1800's, as was the
secret rapture, which Scofield embraced as we can see by the Scofield Bible. It was a new doctrine at the time.
Also one of the important signs of the second coming is that "this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world
as a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come"
TF interprets this as meaning the Gospel THEY are preaching. Their Gospel!
Many say that the Gospel has already been preached in all the world, but the Gospel you see being preached in all the world
is not the true Gospel of the Love and Grace of God, but instead a Gospel of works or a social Gospel, a gospel of entertainment,
a Gospel of blood , sweat and tears, and a Gospel of suffering and death , a Gospel of money and abundant life, not the true
Gospel of peace the angels preached the night of Jesus birth. Luke ch 2.
The Greek word used for Gospel in the NT(euaggelion) was the word not only used for good news or glad tidings, but was such
a rare word hardly ever used in Greek literature because it means more than just good news. What it really means is the equivalent
of saying "the almost too good to be true news" In other words it was such good news that the Greeks would hardly use that
word, as not many things THAT good were worth writing about.
So I would say that the return of Jesus won't be until the true Gospel of the unconditional love and grace of God is completely
preached in all the world. The almost too good to be true news, meant to be expressed in the most superlative way. The REAL
glad and happy tidings of the love and grace of God.
Where do you here that kind of a Gospel being preached today? A few places maybe.
It's difficult to get into anymore without expounding on the prophecies in Daniel and revelations as well as other prophets.
It's a huge subject and there are many contradicting interpretations.
Stay tuned for part 2: The Spirit of Anti-Christ
